VIC:CFA volunteer gutted by 'low-life' theft
A Victorian Country Fire Authority volunteer who was robbed while out at a fatal car
crash says the low-life act has rocked his faith in humanity.
Third Lieutenant JOHN KUTCHEL from the Pearcedale fire station was one of 11 CFA volunteers
attending a crash in which a man was killed in Somerville last night.
He was there all night, and when he returned to the station this morning, he discovered
two GPS units and two hand-held radios had been stolen from his car.
GPS units were also missing from a colleague's car and a CFA vehicle, and a laptop
and other equipment were gone from the station.
