A draft version of what may become Albany County's first law directing certain elected and appointed official to disclose personal finances will be presented to a committee next week for review.
Legislator Joseph J. Dolan Jr., an Albany Democrat and chairman of the legislature's Public Information Committee, said Tuesday the county attorney's staff has finished drafting and researching the proposed law.
Dolan's committee, which conducted four work sessions during the spring to decide what should be incorporated into the new law, has been idle all summer waiting for the draft to be completed.
