NSW: Man hurt in motorcyle race at Eastern Creek
A 20-year-old man is in a critical condition in hospital after a motorcycle accidentat Sydney's Eastern Creek Raceway.
He was competing in the Australian Superbike Championship final this afternoon whenhe collided with another rider just before 3pm (AEST).
An ambulance spokeswoman says he suffered serious head, neck and chest injuries andwas taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.
Miraculously, the second rider was unhurt.
